AC/DC is a band that was popular way before I was even a thought to either of my parents. With their most recent tour having a stop in Cleveland, Ohio, I talked my mother into going with me to the show. Their opening act happened to be one of the first female-fronted bands I had gotten into, them being The Pretty Reckless. I was excited because they were a band that I had wanted to see after I got into the album Going To Hell, particularly the songs Heaven Knows and Going To Hell. And you know what, they put on one hell of a show despite the rain and bugs that had taken over Cleveland that day. And you know what, I am glad I got to see AC/DC. It was a great concert to experience. Also, it was nice to see many adults with their younger children. It took me back to my first concert, which was Aerosmith. It is also interesting to see how AC/DC has spread throughout the years, not really staying particular to one generation. I know growing up, my parents played their songs for my brother and I. I mostly remember my mom playing them and Metallica for us. So, to fast forward many years and get to see them live was an amazing experience. Yet, we did not stay for the whole show, as both my mother and I were quite tired, plus the bugs had gotten to my mom. When I say there were bugs everywhere, I mean that. Bugs were landing all over people and flying all over the place. It was gross. Outside of the bugs, it really was a great experience. I would do it all over again.
