Hershey Company Tours

Man, first off let me tell you, this was an amazing experience I got to do with my mother. Now, there was one attraction Hershey’s Unwrapped that seemed truly designed more for children. But even being an adult, this attraction was still very fun to be a part of. The lady we had gave me a mixture of Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds mixed with Kasie Hines from NCIS. Very cheerful. The next attraction we went to was Hershey’s Great Candy Expedition. Which was not too bad, although there were certain parts that felt like it should have been 3D or had been 3D and we just didn’t have the glasses for it. Those moments only lasted about two seconds before going back to normal. After that, we did the History Trolley Works. Now, I really enjoyed this. If you are going to go with small children, I do not think that this is an attraction they would enjoy. Although I have not been on the other trolley ride, I do think that they would enjoy the livelier one as the one we were on got a lot of dad jokes and they were funny in the context. Being someone who really loves history and learning about things, I really enjoyed this trolley ride. Lastly, was the Create Your Own Candy Bar. If nothing else seems like they would pique your interest, this I really recommend. It was fun not only getting to make my own bar but getting to see it be made. Although I do not think that it showed 100% what it would be like to make a chocolate bar, it did give me a greater appreciation for not only the making of chocolate bars but candy itself. This whole thing I would recommend for someone with young children. But do not let that stop you if you want to experience the whole thing yourself. It was definitely worth the time. So, all in all, I would give this whole thing a 10/10 or 5/5 stars depending on how you want to see it.
